Sorry

So I've deleted this blog. I haven't updated in so long because I found out someone ripped of one of my stories. Which made me most unhappy, as you might have guessed.

No one reads this anyway, apart from the occasional passer-by.

Oh well, whatever.

ooops, though an occasional passer-by, would love to read your stories:-) someone listing tarkovsky and jarmusch as favorites should be at least an interesting writer...anyway, check out pasolini, parajanov, zhang and... oh, i'll stop here: who knows how long this list may grow:-) besides, my guess is you already know them:-)

Hi, Col,

Back to you after reading some of the stories (too much work at the moment to enjoy what i love the best: reading).

where shall I start? hmm, maybe saying that I really liked them. I should tell you a bit about my approach to reading: whenever I read smth, my impressions form into colors or images. I’m not really a literature expert, just an amateur. so, while reading your stories the image I had in mind all the time was a mosaic of little, tiny scenes, all in different colors (e.g. She Falls from Grace started out with blue and faded into grey, and don’t ask me why:-)) and a big sign on the top: XXI homo urbanicus. while reading I happened to see the yann arthus-bertrand exhibition ‘la terre vue du ciel’, and there was a photo of brightly ornate rugs (Morocco. Carpets in Marrakech.) being dried in the sun. that’s how I’ve visualized your stories.

another interesting quote I read while still reading your stories what this: "The blog originated ... as a catch basin for mental detritus, for the kind of stuff not good enough for print, but too good to waste on casual conversation." (Joel Achenbach, The Washington Post, August 21, 2005)

well, I think yours are definitely on the way to print:-)

And below’s what I’ve thought while reading some of the stories:

A Moments Grace
There is still time for the moment. – excellent!

His Once Restless Mind – reminds me of the autumn of the patriarch

The Light Beyond The Silver Screen - fun, ironic and smelling of beyondness/detachedness

Remember Past Glories, Turned To Future Happiness – so true! and sad, we’re losing the human touch to smth I believe is of lesser value: pop culture, which is soooooooooooo superficial and lacking depth. it reminded me of the occasional meetings of poets and philosophers in the 19th century in Austria and Germany. Some actually took place in cafes, but what a difference…

Waiting For Your Name - !!!
